It's easy to be beautiful!

It took me a while to realize this...but one really is as young as one feels!
My beauty tips to everybody are the following: eat well and healthy, exercise, keep both your body and brain active, be a optimistic, positive person, keep good personal hygiene, have enough rest, drink plenty of water and to top it all off wear your best smile!
I understood that our body is really a reflection of how one feels. You feel lazy and bored, your body becomes weak and starts storing fat like it was a bag. Your skin becomes pale and lifeless.
You need to tell your body what its function is. When you exercise, you awaken your muscles, the more you exercise the more your body becomes aware of what its own function is. That is why it starts to burn calories and it grows muscles to make you stronger. But if you spend your days laying on a couch your body becomes useless and you start feeling helpless. Your body, just like your brain is like let's say...a beautiful, powerful car. Like a Porsche or a Ferrari. They need to be used properly and be pushed hard in order to maximize their potential...the more you use them, the faster you make that motor run, the better for the car.
If you are not active, truly your body becomes a bag to store fat. Your brain functions will slow down, your concentration capabilities will decrease and you will start to feel gloomy and sad.
The ancient Romans used to say in Latin "Mens sana in corpore sano", that is to say : "A healthy mind in a healthy body". It is very true.

The best drink in the world: WATER

It is really sad when the media try to sell people all kinds of miracle products for one's skin, for one's cellulite, for one's blood pressure or heart condition.
They won't solve your problems. You can solve your own problems and become the best you will ever be by starting to exercise and cut off your diet everything that is bad for you...that is : highly processed food, GMO /MSG, soda drinks, sugar, sweets and unhealthy junk food. Not to mention stay away from cigarettes and alcoholic beverages.

Eat a lot of superfood salads! They are good for you
Kale is one of the best superfoods on earth! Eat in great quantities! Other great superfoods you should indulge in are: Quinoa, chia seeds, pomegranates, avocados, blueberries

That is step number one. You are what you eat. You eat unhealthy, your body will become full of toxins, will gain extra kgs that will be very hard to get rid of, your skin will degenerate and you will end up looking so much older than you really are.
The best thing for your skin and for your general well being is to drink plenty of water.
A Chinese woman, years ago, she told me that her best beauty secret was to drink a glass of water first thing in the morning. I took her advice very seriously as she was 50 and looked half her age.
Water really helps a lot getting rid of your eye bags and black circles under the eyes, makes your skin plump and young and revitalizes all your organs. It will also help you get rid of toxins and all bad substances in your body and will work together with your metabolism in helping you burn more calories and therefore lose weight. After all we are made of water! So keep drinking it. The ideal would be to drink 3 liters of water everyday. Not carbonated water, just natural water. Nothing is better than that. So many people go out dehydrated and they don't even know it. In reality it is so easy to be healthy, you just need to know or to learn how to be it! It is very sad that people need to learn these things, as we are born into a society that doesn't teach us the basics of healthy living!
Yesterday I took two pictures of myself...one with make-up one without. Check the difference!

Me with make-up
Me without make up

The one with make-up was taken in the afternoon and the one without make-up was taken after I washed my face before going to bed. By taking a moment to look at myself in the mirror and also compared the two photos I came to the realization that I actually look a lot younger without make-up! So do I really need it? My answer is no! It is just that this society doesn't like people to be natural anymore. They want you to buy their products so that you can finally become beautiful, glamorous, splendid! But true beauty comes when you really take care of yourself, when you wipe that make up off and see that your skin is healthy after all!
And there is no make-up in the world that can make your skin better, it can only make it worse!
You are the one who controls the way you look, by eating healthy, exercising and avoiding drugs, alcohol and smoking.
I asked some people to look at this photo of me without make-up and tell me how old do they think I looked. The answer ranged from 15 to 25! Now, taking also 25 that is actually 14 years YOUNGER than I actually am, considering I am 39!
I was very happy to hear that alhamdulillah. So people, keep yourself healthy and bring out the beauty in you!

Ender's game

I watched this film at the cinema today and I really enjoyed it!
The story was about a group of super intelligent kids who are selected to be trained as commanders /fighters to defeat an alien species that tried to colonize the earth.
We follow their journey through various stages of training until a final, controversial battle at the end of the film. I don't want to spoil it for you, you have to go and watch the film yourself, if you are a science fiction fan you will probably enjoy "Ender's game".
I loved the special effects, the structures they managed to create (spaceship, rockets, various sci-fi gadgets), the environment of the alien planet and the general feel of the film. It had a good balance between action and the psychological development of the characters. The battle scenes were really cool!
Normally I really don't like CGI but it was so well done that everything felt so real! I actually felt some emotions during this film, which rarely happens when I watch sci-fi movies.

check this out

I was particularly fascinated by the training scenes at "Battle school" where the kids had to train in a vast chamber with 0 gravity, playing a game where they had to shoot each other's teams. I always wanted to try to hover in 0 gravity and these scenes really made me feel like I was flying around with the guys and was part of the team!
I mean look at this! Who wouldn't want to try it?

How cool is this???!!

Nothing better than training with a friend of the opposite sex in a cool battle suit!

What I keep wondering is why in every film are aliens always portrayed as some kind of ugly insects or horrible lizard like creatures...couldn't they be a little bit more human or extremely beautiful creatures? I guess it would be really hard then to fight them or hate them, they always need to be portrayed as something disgusting. Apart from the film "Avatar" where they are kinda cute and a bit human looking, where of course one sides with them, because they are the "victims".
"Ender's game" is actually taken from a book, or better a book series by author Orson Scott Card. I think it is always a bit sad that people (like me in this case) seems to discover a book or an author AFTER having watched a film or played a video game, then again if this is a way to get people to read I guess it is all good.

the novel

Now that I watched this film I really can't wait to get a hold of these books!
I found this interesting image online that illustrates the series.

The film starred Harrison Ford, who was still in great shape considering his age. I really love this actor.
I am a big Indiana Jones fan!
The young protagonists Asa Butterfield (very promising young British actor!) and Hailee Steinfeld (OMG, the same girl of "True Grit", I didn't recognize her at all!) were absolutely brilliant!

Asa Butterfield, Harrison Ford, Hailee Steinfeld

And what about Bonzo, played by Moises Arias, simply awesome! Yes, I really loved the acting of the cast, it was very convincing.
I definitely want to see this movie again!

Loving YOGA more and more!

Just came back from another awesome Yoga class! I took two classes this week and I am getting so much into it, I can't seem to get enough! I am doing some proper stretches and poses that I could only dream of a couple of weeks ago!
Yoga has really a magical discipline. Because of my back injury I wasn't able to bend my back for many years, or better I always avoided movements that involved back bending.
I am really surprised how quickly Yoga has activated these back muscles in me and how flexible I am becoming in such a short time!
Today we had a really nice class, where we did a few new poses that I never tried before.
Another girl and I were the only ones in the whole class to be able to do the Ustrasana, aka the Camel Pose!

Ustrasana, The Camel Pose

The first time I tried it I almost couldn't reach my ankles...then one hand managed to grab one ankle and I held in there so tight and quickly managed to get the other hand on the other ankle. Wow, it felt really good!
I just tried this pose at home and it suddenly felt easy! Much easier than I remember!
So yeah, I am getting there!
I feel really happy about this. Maybe soon I will take a few photos of myself doing the Yoga poses I have learned.
The gym is making me a lot stronger. Today I went to a store far away (about 30 mins walk) to get a vacuum cleaner. Back in the summer, when I wasn't trained I remember always feeling exhausted on the way back home from that store, with either pain in my feet or legs. Today I went down and carried the vacuum cleaner home which was in a big box all by myself, in the rain. In a normal situation back then I would have certainly freaked out at the thought of carrying a big box like that for a 30 min walk uphill, out in the rain etc. Today I felt tough like Michelle Rodriguez and carried it home without any help or complaining for that matter LOL! I was picturing the old me in my head wining : "My legs hurt, this box is too big and heavy, I am getting wet, I am cold, I hate this wind etc etc etc) and I was smiling at the thought of it....smiling because
I am toughening up, which is really good!

Abs hurt but it is all good!! :)

Had a fantastic session yesterday at the gym with my new gym buddy Alina!  She really made me work hard and to be honest I never saw my face that red before unless it was after some intense cardio training!
My t-shirt was actually all sweaty as well! We worked on legs and abs, had also two squats sessions and I must say today I can feel the effects of all that hard work! Especially in my abs.
It is incredible to see the immediate results of resistance training, I really think that by the end of January I should be in really good shape! I wish I had started lifting weights years ago...all those hours at the gym with little results for many years just because I was doing the wrong kind of exercises for my goal...or at least I thought that cardio was the best way to burn calories...well now I know that weights are actually the best and most effective ways to burn stubborn fat!
I am not gonna be satisfied until I see that line on my stomach that I always wanted to have, which shows the muscles underneath!
That is my ultimate goal with this training I am doing.
After that tough session with Alina I even had one hour of Yoga. The beginning of the class was awesome, relaxed me a lot and made me stretch good. Half way through the class though I started to feel some weakness, especially in my arms (depending on the positions we were in). There was a particular exercise of arms balance that I really couldn't do. Well I guess 3 Yoga classes are not going to cut it, I am not trained enough.
This was the position we were supposed to do.

Now dont let the smile of this woman in the picture fool you. This is NOT an easy position to do for someone like me who just had three Yoga lessons. Already to put the leg other the arm was not the easiest thing...not to mention standing on both arms... well I will try this exercise again at home in my free time and see if I make any progress.

I honestly can't wait to go back to the gym this evening! I have no idea what I will do tonight, maybe some swimming as I didnt swim for quite a few days now. After that sauna accident, I am like scared to go to the pool area. I need to fight this phobia a little sauna will not kill me after the gym, but I need to learn my body's limits and not over do it.
I feel good because I feel like I am doing something really good for myself and my body!

The squats continue!

Another excellent work out today! I have done squats again with the 10 kg barbell and also some with the kettlebell, in addition to my regular work out. I also done more cardio, at a lower level, but more minutes and at a fast pace...and I think I am burning more calories this way!
Physically I feel better and stronger. I still don't have any muscles of course but what counts is to lose the excess fat and get toned up and I am seeing results day after day.
I took a photo of myself today, a selfie, not out of vanity but to see the progression of my body.

Maybe by taking one photo a week I will be able to see if there is any difference? Or maybe one a month will do. This top I am wearing is size 14, only by looking at this photo I realize how large it is  on the sides! It means I am getting slimmer! The trousers also got big, they are size 12 and had to roll them up because they became too large. This means my efforts are paying off. I am happy about it. I reckon, if I go on this way, working out every day, that by January I will be in good shape. I am going to feel so much better both physically and mentally. Tomorrow I really hope to manage to attend the Zumba class, haven't been able last week but I doubt that I will be able to. No matter what I can't wait to go back to the gym tomorrow evening! I am challenging myself and this time I mean it: I will get in perfect shape! InshAllah!

Work out update!

Wow! I am really satisfied with my fitness journey!
I have been working out everyday this week and although I am still far from reaching my goal, I am really satisfied with my commitment to it.
I totally got addicted to my new gym, it becomes like a drug and it is like never enough!
Yesterday I had a lovely yoga session and I must say that I became much more flexible and stronger than the first time! I was doing the exercises much better and I came home all relaxed and full of positive energy. There is something so mystical about yoga, by the geometric alignment in every position that really makes you body-aware. It really feels like some kind of magic! If people would practise it a bit more there would definitely be less aggression and frustration around.
We repeated some exercises that we did the time before, which I found challenging during my first lesson but this time I did them so much better!

Incredible how my body adjusted to these new positions in such a short time!
I also changed my routine at the gym, trying new settings on the machines and doing different exercises that I had never done before...it felt really good!
For instance as far as cardio on the cross trainer I tried a different technique today, copying one of my gym friends who is really fit...I lowered the level which allowed me to move a lot faster (which is really good for the circulation) and did more minutes than I normally do. The calories burn was actually higher this way, but I wonder if this is going to affect the "after burn" ?
I also did some squats with the barbell today! I used only 10 kg as I don't have much strength and most of all I need to learn how to perform squats correctly so that I don't injure myself. It felt really good! I am going to work more with resistance training from now on as I really need to build some muscles in order to burn more calories!
I am excited about these new exercises and possible effects on my body!
I can't wait to see the results. I also been taking that soya protein I bought the other day. I feel less exhausted when I take it and so far I haven't seen any side effect...maybe because I only have been using it for a few days and it is too early. Let's see what happens!
Can't wait to go back to the gym tomorrow! Happy work out everyone!
By the way here is a nice video about squats I found on the internet.

Working out for that perfect body!

I just LOVE my new gym! To subscribe was the best decision I ever made. I got completely addicted to it and now I can really see the benefits of having a large, comfortable and stimulating gym that really is an invitation to spend as much time as possible there.
I basically work out every day, very rarely I skip one day, only if I am not feeling well and my body needs recovery, otherwise I am at the gym every single evening.
I have been combining cardio, weight lift machines, swimming and Zumba fitness and in only 20 days I have already seen some great results! I lost one size, my tummy got a lot flatter, my waist smaller and my arms and legs are much  more toned. It is awesome to be able to see such results, it really makes you push harder.
I also tried Yoga last week and it was a really good and magical experience. It didn't really feel like a work out, as it was more like stretching, but it felt really good. It was very relaxing and some positions we did made me move some muscles in my back that I normally do not use, since a car accident I had when I was 19.  It felt like it activated some energy and some dormant parts of my body...I can't wait to have more Yoga classes! I am sure I will benefit from it and become a lot more flexible. I really need it as I feel kind of stiff at times, although I got a lot better since I started to work out at this new gym.
Today I bought some soy protein to be used as post work out shakes. I definitely do not have enough protein intake as I do not eat meat and I tend to avoid diary products, hopefully this will help me to facilitate muscle recovery.

They had so many different kinds of proteins and I wasn't sure which one to choose. I know soya should be avoided as it is highly inflammatory, so I really hope this doesn't happen with this product, as it is proteins only, not the whole soya.  I just read a very scary article about it...if soy is genetically modified it can be really harmful!
http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2011/12/08/the-dirty-little-secret-hidden-in-much-of-your-health-food.aspx
I am really scared of trying it out now. They say the one I bought is a safe brand...but I am still scared, they lie so much to sell products and the food industry these days can not be trusted.
I just heard the other day that the best way to lose weight is to do squats and lift weights. I always avoided weights as I thought I just wanted to burn fat and get toned not actually build muscles, but they told me that the best way to achieve my goal is to get more muscles as muscles burn fat much faster! I didn't know that!
So now I am going to change my work out routine and start with new exercises that will help me achieve my goals. Tomorrow I have a session with a personal trainer and to be honest I cannot wait to see what exercises she is going to recommend me!
I also started to get to know some people at the gym, which is great. After working out we normally meet up at the Spa and chill together.
Yesterday I over did it though. I got stuck in the sauna for too long and when I went out I almost passed out. It was a horrible feeling. I am going to be more careful from now on.

Great disappointment!

Here, now I can say it...the mysterious video I shot earlier this summer for the famous unmentionable 90´s band was for PLACEBO. I can't tell you how I excited I was to see this video, every day I was looking on the internet and on their official page to see any sign of life...
they kept everything in great secret, they wouldn't even tell us the song title nor we got to hear the song. All we knew was it was going to be for one of the tracks of Placebo's new album "Loud like Love".
As I found out this morning by pure chance, the video was an alternative version of "Too many friends" which just got released in a special Deluxe edition of "Loud like Love".

Someone posted a muted version of the song on Youtube, to show the alternative video. As I watched it this morning my heart was beating fast with excitement but soon enough all joy turned into anger and frustration. Why? Because it seems ALL the scenes I was in got cut off! I could only see myself, or better a silhouette of myself for about 2 seconds and that was it!
I cannot believe I did this work for free, last minute call, was on set for 8 hours and spent 3 hours travelling to be in this video and I am basically nowhere to be seen! Not to mention the fact that they made us bring two different outfits and I kept changing for the different scenes...which I didn't mind because I thought I was going to be seen in the video and I wanted to look my best...what a disappointment...I am NOT going to do free work again unless I have a lead role!
I hate false promises...I hate the fact that they told us everyone present at the shot was going to be featured and of all the 12 actors present that day, only 3 got featured on the video and for a couple of seconds only.
Now, there may be many reasons for this, still I believe that out of respect for people's time, dedication and work, they should have kept us updated and told us what was going on as they promised instead of completely ignoring emails and texts and of course no payment as cherry on top!
What can I say, I am very bitter about this...but I learned my lesson, I will never do free work again, not unless I am heavily featured!
Here is the video by the way...

New fantastic gym!

The other day I was so upset when I went to the gym and saw this flyer hanging on the front door, announcing the closing of the gym for HALF YEAR, due to refurbishment! I was like: WHAT???
I signed a one year contract and all of a sudden the gym closes down! I got in a terrible mood....but good things come to those who wait and we should never get upset when something doesn't work out because there may be something better in store for us!
In fact, first thing I did when I came home from my work out was to immediately look for other options in town. Now, when it comes to the gym  I am quite demanding. I got extremely spoiled in Italy and in Sweden with top class expensive gyms with top of the line equipment etc...and I would like to keep more or less the same standard...I am demanding in the sense that in addition to great equipment I also want a nice, spacious environment that motivates me to work out...a place where I could spend hours and not feel in a rush to go home...you know the feeling? If you enjoy the environment there are bigger chances to spend more time there and therefore to work out more, or craving the gym when you are home or somewhere else. This is what I want! In addition to that, being a true Gemini, I like variation...I don't like routines, I always need something to keep me stimulated and going. Therefore I am interested in classes and swimming in addition to the normal work out...and if the gym even has a SPA even better! Honestly I couldn't imagine I would find all this... I thought that my gym in Sweden was the best ever and nothing could compare to it...well it is still the best but today I found VIRGIN ACTIVE HEALTH CLUB, very close to my house and it fits all my requirements! I am over the moon!!

pool
cardio area

machines

spa

I didn't even know that gym was there!! It was well hidden, like a pearl in its shell and I passed by loads of times, but since it is inside a very busy building complex filled with restaurants, café and cinema and people walking about, I never really seen the sign for it!
Well I was very impressed when I visited this gym today! The work out area is very spacious, the machines are Technogym like in Italy and Sweden ( I love them!) and the cardio/weight lift area has a stunning view over the artificial ski-slope! So you can actually see people skiing and snowboarding while you work out!

Overlooking the ski-slope!
Awesome! Plus they have big studio rooms for classes, a 20 meter pool ( ok, not big but it will do), Jacuzzi, sauna facility and a corridor with computers with free internet!

Computer stations with free internet

OMG OMG OMG I love this gym!!! I must join them immediately!! I already filled in all the paperwork, just waiting to hear what is happening with my other membership at my old gym and then start to work out! :D Yayyy I am a happy woman!!!

What a film! What a film! What a film!!

I bought "Azumi" on dvd years ago as I am a big fan of Asian films and had quite a collection. I just decided to watch it again the other day and damn I loved it!!
It is the story of a bunch of orphan kids who live with a Samurai master on top of a mountain in complete isolation. They are raised as warrior assassins and when they reach puberty they leave the mountain in order to go kill all the evil warlords who wage war against each other. These kids' sole purpose in life is to fulfil their mission, that is what they live for and they die for.
I remember the first time I watched this film I got traumatized...it is a film that really plays with feelings but at the same time there is some kick-ass action and Aya Ueto the actress who plays Azumi is so beautiful!! I just can't get over the fact that she looks so tiny and angelic but is a fierce assassin who is capable of fighting like a true warrior!! It is like watching a doll fight!
Azumi you are officially my hero!! About time they gave us some female hero that combines femininity and great fighting skills!!

Azumi and her friends...when they found out the ultimate test was to slain each other!

Nachi
Nachi is Azumi's best friend and is one of the gang's best warrios. Unfortunately the Master's ultimate test orders the kids to pair up with whom they like the most and kill each other...this according to him is they key to become a true assassin, the ability of kill coldly without succumbing to emotions.
Unfortunately Nachi and Azumi are forced to fight each other and Nachi dies. Azumi gets traumatized by this and she keeps repeting his name during the whole length of the film (and even in Azumi 2).

Aya Ueto looks so innocent and gorgeous...yes, wait until she grabs that sword!!

My favourite character in Azumi is the mysterious man in white with the rose, Bijomaru Mogami (what a name!!). He is a total psycho, he is probably homosexual and has a very elegant but sinister presence that is guaranteed to charm you and make you feel extremely uneasy at the same time. His cruelty is beyond words...he is definitely the most stylish villain I have ever seen in a film!

Bijomaru Mogami

Azumi and Bijumaru have an amazing fight scene

I also bought on DVD Azumi 2. Very good film, but I wouldn't recommend watching it if one hasn't watched Azumi first, as the story continues directly from where it left off.

Death or Love? I still didn't understand why this subtitle

I still prefer the first film, but also the second part is good. There are some excellent fighting scenes and some really cool effect! A great addition to the cast is the famous Japanese schoolgirl with the metal ball from Kill Bill, Chiaki Kuriyama , who plays guess what ? A traitor and a villain!! But...she gets her arse kicked even this time!!!

Chiaki Kuriyama as Kozue in Azumi 2

Guys if you love Japanese action films, Azumi and Azumi 2 are not to be missed!! Epic!!!
Anyway here is the link to these filmS...not the best quality but you can watch them for free online...tell me what you think...and please if you do like them buy them on DVD, the industry and the artists need to be supported for their hardwork!!

UK Unsigned showcase and documentary filming

About 10 days ago I went back to Neasden, at the Brent Media Centre for another great UK Unsigned showcase. I did some interviews for the documentary they are filming as UK Unsigned will celebrate 15 years next year.
I had a brilliant time, despite the fact that I was feeling really ill. I had a terrible cold and my head was clouded so I couldn't give the best of me as I normally would.
They told me people couldn't tell, but I certainly could. I normally am an explosive volcano, especially when I do what I love the most, like that in that case, where I feel like a fish in the sea, in my right element, which is music, acting and TV business.
Well hopefully next time I will be in top shape!
Anyway I discovered some new amazing talent: Natalie Chua, who was one of the first winners of the UK Unsigned competitions (and also youngest member as she was only 6 when she won back in 2002) and the amazing, incredible Bianca Gerald, who I am sure is going to be big star really soon!

Check out Natalie Chua's song "Angel"...when she performed this on stage, she was just perfect and she gave me shivers!! Amazing voice!

Natalie Chua

Bianca Gerald

Bianca Gerald was in my opinion the most talented and original of the new artists...she has the looks, the personality and the talent of a true STAR!! I really hope she takes over the world, she deserves it!! And the world deserves more good music and real talent...but I am afraid the masses' ears are not used to such refined talent...time to train them and spoon feed them  something beautiful and really arty!

Here are some photos from the event.

Interviewing Bianca Gerald
Interviewing my favourite girls, the amazing Fabsisters!
Talented and hard-working cameraman Luqman Stagg, always great to work with him

More interviews

My dear friend singer Alan John-Baptiste was also there!

Noisy Toyz video "Trail of Tears" finally released :)

Seriously! I can't believe this is the first blog I write in over one month.
Sorry about my absence, I have been away and just became an auntie of a beautiful baby boy!
I didn't spend much time on the computer lately. It hasn't been much of a summer for me this year, no vacation and no day in the sun, but I have been busy with so many things so one thing I can say of this summer is that it has been productive.
The video we filmed for the band Noisy Toyz last month has finally been released. Check it out!

I think it turned out pretty well, considering the band took care of everything: filming, editing, storyline and production. There are a few shots of me mingling with the crowd, dancing and messing with the violin, check them out.
The song is really good too...very atmospheric with some Nightwish influences. Gemma has an amazing voice, I foresee a bright future for her, she has got both the right looks and the talent.
We had a great time filming this video at a club in Croydon, just outside of London. It was a very hot summer day and we were sweating tons under the masks (and I was even fasting!), but it was a fun experience and a very good opportunity for networking with other artists.
Please enjoy the video, like and share it!

Miss Cyberface Buckinghamshire 2013 !

Yes!
I am in the finals of the beauty pageant Miss Cyberface UK, representing Buckinghamshire!
I just got my sash yesterday and took some photos with it, I am really happy.
Never had a sash before and also this is the first beauty pageant I ever entered and to me it is a success already to be one of the finalists as I am competing with girls who are much younger than me...the oldest of them is 9 years younger than me and some are about 18 years younger!
So even if I don't win this competition I already had my personal victory with this title.
The reason why I entered it was to prove that even older women such as myself can still be beautiful!
When it comes to modelling it seems that to get some work you have to be a teenager, normally they look for girls 16-23...it is hateful because this is like saying that after that age women are no longer attractive! Every age has its beauty and personally I prefer myself now than when I was a teenager!
Of course I was a lot slimmer, but I wasn't half the woman I am today!
Anyway, here are some photos of happy me with my brand new sash.

Tomorrow I was supposed to audition for an African Feature film, I had a month to prepare myself and was all excited as I was going to audition for a lead role but sadly they sent a message yesterday saying that due to unforeseen circumstances the auditions have been cancelled!
I was really disappointed...I was looking forward to this one...hopefully they will audition us later on.
Also still waiting to hear back from another casting for a presenting role job for which I was shortlisted a month ago but all dead silent from their side...what's going on? I am still waiting for the details for the screen test which was supposed to be done earlier this month and I e-mailed them to check what's going on and they didn't get back. I will keep checking my mail every day and stay positive, cause that it's in my nature! Always good positive vibes!
